The Dark and the light, the light of passion, the sun rising after the dark night is what I am trying to paint. The dark of the night is our fears, our doubt, our insecurity, our self doubt, but when we come out of it, into the light of the day, then we are able to really see our true selves. What I am trying to portray in this quote is that when you are in love with someone you allow yourself to be vulnerable with him or her. You are able to open up to them and show them who you are at your core.
You are able to show them your darkest secrets without any fear because you know they will never judge or hurt you. As soon as you feel safe enough with someone you can show all of your emotions without fear that they will be angry with you. Once you have opened up with someone it is hard for them not to know what it means to them.
When they see that side of you that they didn’t know existed then they want nothing more than to protect you forever after. It is this type of vulnerability that can lead to a deeper connection between two people so when two people are completely open with one another there is no way for them not to care for one another.
